The firm of Jalpa Shah Design Studio, was established in 2010 as an independent design practice founded by Jalpa Shah.​
During her Graduation, Jalpa realised that interior design was her calling after which she went on to complete a Full Term Course on the subject from one of the leading Architecture and Design School Rachna Sansad in Mumbai. During the course she got theoretical and hands on experience on designing Residential and Office spaces. ​
Directly after completing her graduation in the year 2006 Jalpa was hired by Rohan Lifescapes Mumbai as a full time Inhouse Interior Designer and worked under the leading Architect Uday Shah for three years and got hands on opportunity to create functional spaces with great designs for her company clients in South Mumbai. ​
Jalpa’s design work was liked by many and got her references for independent projects across Mumbai. Her projects include multiple residential and commercial spaces. She has completed private homes of celebrated actors Urmila & Adinath Kothare and also designed spaces for leading Marathi film Director Mahesh Kothare. In 2013 Jalpa got a contract to design Indian Institute of Fashion Technology (ISFT) and is still continuing on their panel for designing their other projects across Mumbai.

She has also worked on designing bungalow spaces at Baroda.Her projects have covered the entire gamut of interior designing, right from styling houses with no walls, plumbing or ceiling - literally from scratch to design consultation for rented apartments with ready to move in furniture from online stores.​
Jalpa Shah has her in-house 3 D rendering systems and also offers 3D iimages to to leading architects and interior designers across Mumbai. ​
With great demand of Vaastu Consultation by her clients and her desire to gain knowledge on the subject and learn the nuances and finest details on Vastu Shastra, Jalpa has also completed a certified course on Vastu Shastra in 2020.​
Design, floor spaces & Furniture aside, Jalpa is also an Artist. As a hobby, she has partnered with her mother and created more than 50 Canvas paintings which have been sold across India and Dubai.
